Overview: This knowledge base tutorial describes the process of creating and managing MYSQL Database in cPanel. There are two cPanel tools that allow creating MYSQL Database: MYSQL Database menu and MYSQL Database Wizard let’s find out how each of them actually work.
MYSQL Database: MYSQL is an open-source relational database management system. MYSQL is a freely available open source relational Database management system (RDBMS) that uses structured Query language (SQL). SQL is the most popular language for adding, accessing and managing content in a Database. It is most noted for its quick processing, proven reliability, ease and flexibility of use.
Creating a Database with the MYSQL Database Wizard tool.
There are simple basic steps to given to bellow to create MYSQL Database in cPanel.
Step-1: Login to cPanel with username and password.
Step-2: After login to cPanel go to the Databases Section and click on MYSQL Database wizard.
Step-3: After clicking you will need to perform three steps Create A Database, Create A User, Add User to the Database.
#: Create A Database: In this option write down the Database you want to create then click on Next Step.
#: Create Database Users: This section divided into four parts given to bellow you need to fill the all section to create a Database user.
- Username: In This section write down the Database username that you want.
- Password: You should enter a strong and secure password for your Database user. Use the password Generator for created a unique password.
- Password Again: Enter the same password as above to confirm the spelling.
- Strength: Here you will get to know how secure your password is. The strength levels from very weak to very strong will help you to determine this.
#: Add User to the Database: In this step check mark on All Privileges and then click on make a changes button.
Step-4: After following these steps you have successfully create a MYSQL Database in cPanel.
