Addon Domains: Addon domains allow you to control multiple domains from a single account. An addon domain links a new domain name to a directory in your account and then stores its file in the directory.
Here are some basic steps to create an addon domain in cPanel just follow these steps.
Step-1: Login to cPanel with username and password.
Step-2: Once you are logged into your cPanel account, just scroll down and come out domains section.
Step-3: After that click on the Addon domains option under the domains section.
Step-4: When you click on the Addon domain option then a new interface will come out on your screen. Next, you will need to fill out the details of the addon domain.
Step-5: Just write down the new domain name which you want to add on cPanel.
Step-6: write down the subdomain, when adding a new domain to your account, cPanel automatically
Step-7: Select the document root, The document root is the directory where the files for this website will be located. The default directory for new domains is /home/username/new_domain_name.com
Step-8: Then checkmark on creating an FTP account associated with this Addon Domain
Step-9: After that generate the password and write down the password in the password section, again retype the password which you entered in the password section.
Step-10: Once you are finished filling in the details, click on the “Add Domain” button.
